Is your little one about to reach their 1st birthday milestone? Cake smash photography is one of my favourite session types! Cake smash photoshoots are a perfect way to capture your babies 1st birthday.
It’s not only a fun and memorable way to celebrate their 1st birthday, it's also a great way to capture every bit of their personality and facial expressions before they grow that little bit bigger.
All of my 1st birthday cake smash collections start off with timeless portraits, I have a gorgeous array of outfits to choose from for your photoshoot. Once we’ve captured their portraits we introduce the cake and then let them have at it! It’s a great sensory experience all round, as they get to eat it or smash it! Every child is different so it’s always a surprise as to how they’re going to react. When they’ve had enough of making a mess and we’ve got all those fun images we can introduce the tub with some water and let them have a splash. This way we can grab some more photographs for your gallery and they’re lovely and clean and ready for you to take them home.
All of my cake smash collections include all 3 parts so your gallery has a good variety of images to choose from.

I offer a variety of colour choices for your child’s cake smash photoshoot set and if you’re looking for something a little more elaborate I’d love to hear about your ideas! Balloon garlands are provided for your session.
All collections include a bespoke cake, professionally made and colour coordinated to your set. The decorations and outfits are also included so the only thing you need to bring with you to your cake smash is a towel and a few familiar snacks from home, Everything else is provided!
