Cake smash photoshoots are split into 3 sections, Maddison’s 1st birthday images below show you a great example of what happens during a 1st birthday cake smash photoshoot with Lea Cooper Photography!
Pre smash portraits
First we start off with simple portraits, these are gorgeous keep sakes as they will stand the test of time style wise and they will fit in when displayed with any decor around your home! I provide a large selection of photo friendly outfits for you to choose from for the full session, so everything is provided for you. We will capture a mixture of images, using a selection of props too depending if your baby is crawling or standing.
The Cake Smash
Once we’ve finished with the portraits we will make the switch to the cake smash set, with your chosen colours and style in mind - all of these decisions of what you would like for your set will be discussed with you before your session to ensure your set matches with your colour scheme and babies personality! You have create control, I’m always happy to adjust things to fit what you have in mind.
All balloons, props, decorations, outfits etc is provided. Every cake smash collection also includes a cake so other than securing a date and letting me know what colours etc you’d like everything else is done for you!
The Splash
There is nothing worse than a sticky baby, so once we’ve finished with the cake smash section of the photoshoot I will fill up my tiny bath tub and give you the opportunity to clean down your baby so they’re clean for when you take them home! This also gives me another opportunity to get a few more images for your gallery! As I find most babies love to play in water so we can hopefully capture some smiles!
How to book a cake smash photoshoot
If your babies 1st birthday is fast approaching and you’d like to book a cake smash photoshoot to celebrate their birthday you can do so from the following button below! All of my slots can be found on the link, where you can select one that’s a good fit for you. Once you’ve chosen a slot it will ask you to fill in the booking form, which collects all information needed for me to prepare for your session. You will then get a confirmation email to say your cake smash date is secure.
I require £50 booking fee to secure a date, with the remainder balance of your chosen collection due on the day of the session. You’re welcome to upgrade once you’ve seen your gallery if you’re unsure about which collection you’d like to go for.
