Last summer in September I photographed the most amazing wedding. Unlike most weddings I attend this one actually took place in the brides parent’s front garden, but in no way shape or form did this distract from how beautiful the day turned out to be. Every small detail of the day had been planned so well, that if I didn’t know any better I would assume they hosted weddings there all the time!
Emma and Krish had planned to travel to Bali in August to tie the knot, unfortunately at the last moment Emma's mom and dad could no longer travel with them - so they decided to have an intimate tree planting ceremony at home - so that her dad didn’t miss out on getting the opportunity to walk his eldest daughter down the aisle.
Unfortunately it rained quite a bit during the day but this didn’t at all distract away from the ceremony. Everyone was supplied with an umbrella and everyone embraced the rain like it was meant to be.
As Emma and Krish had already had an official wedding ceremony in Bali a few weeks before, they instead performed a tree planting ceremony - which symbolises the joining of themselves and their families.
Congratulations to you both, from the bottom of my heart I hope you have many happy years together!
Here are a few images from their day.
