Sunday I had a session with this gorgeous bunch in Cannock Chase. Little did I know that they were all bringing their dogs along too, so in total there was 12 of them and they had all made the effort to be festive and wear their Christmas jumpers!
We started out at 3.30PM to catch the golden hour sunlight. To my own amazement, considering I, a 30 year old female who only manages a poor attempt at what some (me) would call whistling, I still managed to get a range of shots of all dogs looking at the camera when the images were taken! Even more amazingly no head-swaps were needed when editing the images! If it weren’t for the fact that I’m not the biggest fan of Christmas I would believe it was the power of the Christmas jumpers.
I take family session bookings throughout the year and they, like many of my other sessions can either be done indoors or outdoors. If they’re indoor sessions I’m unfortunately more strict about number of people taking part, as I’m restricted with space. Outdoors, not so much. I’m more than happy to allow extended family to join in on the session and to split my packages between them, which is what this lovely family did! I shot pictures of them all together as a group, of their separate families, parents and their sons and of the gorgeous granddaughter alone.
