I've been doing this job for a while and I've seen some things along the way. Cairo's taste in music was a new one for me, I'm still smiling about it now many days later.
When he arrived for his cake smash he had fallen asleep in the car on the way so to wake him up when he got inside his mom played his favourite song - the Eastenders theme tune. Within seconds of it starting he was awake and smiling, it made my day!
With babies this age you have to try all types of different things to try and get the babies to participate, as at this age they generally just do what they like. Sometimes I sing, sometimes I dance, the amount of odd noises or pretend sneezes that leave my mouth are always somewhat embarrassing but that’s ok! We do what we have to, to get the job done, even if this means listening to the Eastenders theme tune over and over haha!
Cairo is a huge animals lover so his mom requested a jungle cake smash with lots of animals for his Cake Smash theme. Overall he wasn’t too fussed with the cake, but he absolutely loved being able to splash in the tub and was a happily little dude!
